Op Art Riley

What is the meaning of Bridget Riley, now of 1964?
With special reference to Op-Art?
Op Art Riley Riley started develop their distinctive style of art in black and white optical around 1960, based on several different sources. Pointillism point of departure is the theory (or division) post-impressionist Georges Seurat (1859-1891), although initially limited to black and white Riley. In addition, tables of Victor Vasarely, who had used designs of black and white lines from the 1930 – for example, see Zebra (1938) – has a strong influence on Riley's early style. According to Riley, herself, Another influence was his childhood in Cornwall, where the sea and the sky changes constantly encouraged his vision. His 1960 optical illusions have been an attempt to recreate the wonder of seeing what could not be effectively captured by a representation of the image. In 1962 she was the first of many solo exhibitions at Gallery One in London. At that time, his painting style is well suited to increasing public participation (also illustrated by the new type of performance art, known as events) and new ways of thinking that seeks to dismantle the traditional mind-body dichotomy (as illustrated by the tendency of hallucinogenic drugs.) Therefore, though Riley was probably 12-13 Vasarely years behind, and 40 years behind the Dutch graphic artist MC Op MASTER (1898-1972), who seems to be the pioneer of a new method of representation pictorial totally new, revolutionized the power of the picture plane. Recognition In 1965, one of his works (Curent, 1964) appeared on the cover of the catalog exhibition "The Responsive Eye" at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, organized by William C. Seitz – the program that launched the optical art of the next major thing after the Pop Art, an event which earned him world recognition as a star of contemporary art. As seems to be, Riley became disillusioned with the Op art because their work has been exploited commercially. For example, it opened without your consent for the models in vogue in the garment industry. In 1968, he received the coveted International Painting Prize at the Venice Biennale. http://www.visual-arts-cork.com/famous-artists/bridget-riley.htm
